It was reidiculous how much fun the Getdown was last year. Brandon has really got a ball rolling with his Viavant Productions thing, and this should be about as good as it gets for the area besides Shakori.

Also, if some of you bands are trying to get on the jam scene, I encourage to go out there, check out the bands, and rub shoulders and also listen to what is out there so you can figure out what you need to do to make things happen.

First of all, schedule a "well-baby" visit right before leaving. You probably will hear this tip about making a baby drink or suck on something for take-off and landing. This is actually a myth but it is true that if your baby's ears have an infection, he'll suffer. Make sure his ears are checked and that he's in good shape to travel overall. Feed your baby as needed and don't unnecessarily wake him on take-off and landing. Healthy ears can handle pressurization changes without disturbing him.

I have never, ever done anything special in all the flights I've taken with my three children over the course of 10 years. I also rarely saw ear problems in babies (or adults) in my 13 years as a Flight Attendant.

Also, really try to reduce your bags. Try to borrow and/or rent whatever you can at your destination. Find out what your hotel or resort has or if staying with relatives/friends, ask them to borrow. There are baby rental equipment companies so you can leave your own gear at home.

The Hottest Band on Earth performed in Raleigh at Walnut Creek last night 8/29/10! KISS put on a phenomenal show the likes we may never see again. I am starting to wonder if there are any new bands that can hold a candle to classic bands like KISS who have superior showmanship, stage presence, and musical prowess in one exciting fireworks packed extravaganza. Like Paul Stanley said that night, the KISS experience is somewhere between going to church and going to the circus! It's wild and you know God gave rock and roll to everyone! I know there are some decent newer bands out there but how would they measure up to bands like KISS if they were to wage musical warfare in a battle of the bands contest? Any ideas as to who those bands might be and how they would measure up to the KISS yardstick?

just as long as it's made in the usa. no spirits, no synapses, just good ol' graphite necks and/or one piece graphite bodies/necks. especially looking for fretless basses!

Yeah the jam bands like Grateful Dead and PHISH will most likely have the longest LIVE recordings. I think the longest studio recorded songs to my knowledge would have to be those album sides from RUSH such as 2112 and Hemispheres. Truly Epic Masterpieces!

Sort of. Mine is J.K. Rowling (maybe there are better authors, but Harry Potter made me enjoy reading, so it was always have a special place in my heart.) She has a twitter, but only made one post that state she was the real J.K Rowling. She hasn't updated it since that post in April or so.
